Mossbourne School in Hackney, London is a completely new school, built on the site of the former Hackney Downs School which was deemed a ‘failing’ school and closed in 1994. Sir Michael Wilshaw, the headteacher saw the need for a new school in that area that can give the staff and pupils a sense of ownership and flexibility. The same goes for their newsletter. An A3 newsletter was designed and vary quarterly between 8 to 12 pages. Uncoated 100% recycled paper and 140gms thick. The logo was designed by Tom Clark (not the news reporter).
