Saxon Fencing Club website is for the local fencing club I go to in Acton W3, London UK. 2009 was the fencing club’s 50th anniversary. The Saxon ‘S’, mask and the blue has been with the club for a decent part of the 50 years.

Deciding about the look and feel of the website, there was a few points I wanted to consider:

• Even though it is a new website, a lot of focus still need to be on the ‘S’ and the mask… that is Saxon.
• Keep the design clean, for a more sporty approach.
• Even though it should be a clean design, add a welcoming warmth. That is Saxon too.

With all of that, the design somehow represent an actual club with the content as the ‘trophy cabinet’.
